I no that if you work at Bungie, you get the armor, but are there any other ways to get it?

I’ve unlocked all 7 Vidmaster achievements from Halo 3 and ODST as well as acquiring 990 Gamerscore from ODST and the entire 1750 from Halo 3. When I try and unlock the recon armor a message saying "Error: We could not verify the Classic achievement." shows up. Why on earth is this happening?

Hey I was wondering if I get all of the vidmaster acheivements do I HAVE to sign into my windows live id on bungie.net or do you think if I talk to bungie they can just give me the armor. I don’t remember my windows live id password so I can’t unlock it. Thanks

I’ve heard a lot of things about it, like something with a glitch, and beating the Bungie people 2 on 2. I rented halo ODST and i got recon fairly quickly. I just never took the time to find out how in Halo 3
